Praying For Christians
Father, guard and maintain the purity and simplicity of devotion to Jesus in our lives. (II Corinthians 11:2-3).
Help us to bear our cross and to follow you daily. Give us a fresh filling of the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 5:18).
Help us to be humble in your sight that we with a servants heart may serve you and others in spirit and in truth (Psalms51:17, Philippians 2:5-8, Matthew 11:27-30, Mark 10:24-25)
Allow communion with you to become part of our everyday routine. Let regular prayer time and studying God's word be a necessity just as the food and water we consume each day. (Colossians 3:16-17, Psalms119:105, 124, 125:18,32, II Timothy 3:16-17)
Heavenly Father, draw us closer to Your light that we may live our lives walking in our God ordained purpose. (Hosea 6:6, Ephesians 2:10)
Keep us spiritually, emotionally, physically, relationally, and financially prosperous. (II Corinthians 9:6-11, I Thessalonians 5:23-24, Philippians 4:19)
As we abide in Christ Jesus may the peace and joy of God rest upon our hearts. (Philippians 4:4-7, John 15:7-11)
