The Word tells us to acknowledge the Lord in all of our ways and He will direct us. The goal of the Prayer Ministry is to encourge all saints to talk with God daily and to intercede and stand in the gap for our leaders and our nation.
The Prayer Ministry consists of a prayer leader and a group of saints called the SWAT Team (Saints Watchful And Tenacious.) This team was formed to be a covering around our Bishop & Pastor, as well as our local Church. The SWAT Team is committed to praying down the strongholds of the enemy in this local assembly and the entire body of Christ.
The SWAT Team is open to any member of our congregation who has a desire to intercede for others and demonstrates commitment and a willingness to learn and pray.
Prayer is foundational to our relationship with the Lord. Therefore, we need to know the importance and the need for prayer in our Christian walk. The Prayer Ministry encourages all saints to attend the weekly prayer meeting on Wednesday night at 7pm.
