The Board of Elders (also referred to as the Finance Ministry) is a panel of eight Elders men and women dedicated to the service of the Lord. Their function is to serve in an advisory capacity to the Bishop on matters pertaining to the financial health and well being of the church.
The main goal of the Finance ministry is to facilitate the operation of the church; by assisting the Bishop in the fiduciary responsibilities and decision-making processes of the ministry.
The structure of the Finance Ministry consists of the Bishop and Pastor, the Church Secretary and Church Treasurer or Comptroller, and the Church Administrator, a Sergeant-at-Arms, and four other Elder members. Decisions are based on a quorum of at least six members, and meetings are held every month.
