The purpose of the Usher ministry at New Life in Christ is to direct and seat people entering the sanctuary during all services. The Usher ministry’s goal is to seat everyone in God’s house.
The Usher ministry desires saints who have a servant’s heart and are led by the spirit when on duty. In addition to seating and greeting, ushers must be ready to assist in any manner necessary for promoting order in God’s house. This could include but is not limited too, assisting with Altar calls, attending to the needs of the Pastor, and accommodating anyone ministering during and after service.
At New Life in Christ, usher is defined as:

E=Efficient
R=Ready
